No, you can just book a ceremony in White Chapel and have your reception at another place.
No problem, we can organise a custom package for your event. There are a number of ways to enjoy a reception with your guests.
No, but we can organise a ‘custom package’ with catering to better suit your requirements.
No, Black Hall offers a beautiful alternative to an outdoor marquee and at no where near the cost.
Of course. In White Chapel we provide the package inclusions, however you are welcome to use your own. With Black Hall packages we include one level of styling with all of our packages, but you may want to upgrade from what we offer. We will not however, deduct any cost from the package if you choose to decorate yourself.
Yes, there are approx. 120 beds within 15 minutes of the venue. We have our very own Deluxe accommodation – Herrmann House, just 100 metres away and a brand new motel in town just 50 metres away. Our private bus can easily transport all of your guests to the nearby accommodation. Just speak to us about the many options, or check our accommodation page on this website.
There are a number of private bus lines that will bring your guests out and take them back. One is travelsafecoachhire.com.au
A tentative booking will hold the date for 7 days only and will automatically lapse unless advised otherwise. After that you will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit in order to hold the date for your wedding.
Menu tastings are not included in your package, however we are able to arrange one with our caterers once you have secured your booking at an additional cost to you. Please contact us for more information regarding menu tastings and to arrange this.
Yes, absolutely.
All of our packages are inclusive of catering. We are able to provide you with a custom package.
No we don’t offer wedding financing, but the payment schedule which is in our terms and conditions allows for progressive payments. Contact us for Terms and Conditions contract.
Yes there is. These prices are set out in our Pricing/Packages leaflet.
BYO alcohol is NOT permitted on site. We are a licensed venue and included beverages in all of our packages. For alternate beverage options please contact us to discuss further.

Yes, absolutely. We have a number of beautiful settings in our chapel grounds including our 2.3 metre fairytale book, our two-tiered fountain, our white French door Arbor, and our white picture frame. Plus, there are numerous gorgeous backdrops for wedding photography in the local area – these range from rural farms, to country fences, to very old trees, to old farm trailers to hay bales. Our historic town of Kalbar also has some wonderful old buildings for photography too.
Whilst winter days in the Kalbar/Boonah area are usually warm (22-23 degrees) the nights can be cool and can drop down to 6 degrees and sometimes lower overnight. But, we’ve set up White Chapel Kalbar and Black Hall Kalbar to make winter weddings very special. Our chapel has reverse cycle air conditioning to keep things warm (or cool during summer). Black Hall Kalbar has a stunning gas fireplace as a centrepiece and additionally also has reverse cycle air conditioning. Black Hall’s pergola area has a wood burning outdoor fireplace for a wonderful atmosphere and plenty of warmth. Plus, wood buring firepits are available in our outdoor Barn Bar.
Yes, tables and chairs are included. If you wish to add on additional styling for your outdoor reception such as festoon lighting this can be arranged with our stylists at an additional cost to you.
